Quinceañeras

Quinceañeras can be scheduled for 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Requirements for Quinceañeras at Sacred Heart Parish

1. The Quinceañera and her parents need to arrive 30 minutes before Mass begins, and no later than 15 minutes before Mass.

2. If you arrive 15 minutes late, the Mass will be canceled and only a liturgy of the word and/or a blessing will be given.

3. The dress code for the Quinceañera needs to be appropriate for Mass. The dress needs to cover the shoulders, her back, and have a moderate neckline. If a shawl, coat, or cape is necessary, it cannot be transparent nor open in the middle, in the front.

4. The parents, sponsors, and all the guests invited to the Mass need to follow a dress code similar to the Quinceañera. Dresses cannot be too short, have too short side-cuts, no low neckline, no midriff showing shirts. Guests can be denied entry into the Church if they are inappropriately dressed.

5. If the requirements of the Quinceañera are not followed, the Mass can be canceled on that very day at the discretion of the priest or deacon celebrant.
